Summary

This study aimed to understand how HIV and tuberculosis (TB) medications are processed by the body during pregnancy and after birth. Researchers followed over 1,500 pregnant and postpartum women who were already taking these medications for their care. By measuring drug levels in the blood, the study sought to determine the safest and most effective doses to protect both the mother's health and prevent passing HIV to the baby.
