Summary
This study tested whether using genetic tests and blood drug levels to adjust HIV medication doses could improve safety and effectiveness. 190 adults starting HIV treatment in Argentina were randomly assigned to either standard dosing or personalized dosing. The goal was to see if personalized dosing could reduce side effects while keeping the virus under control.
