Scientists test cancer drug's potential to free HIV patients from daily pills

NCT ID NCT07145164

Summary

This study is testing whether a drug called N-803 (Interleukin-15) can help people with HIV control the virus without needing to take daily HIV medication. The drug stimulates immune cells that fight infected cells, potentially changing how HIV hides in the body. Researchers will temporarily stop participants' regular HIV medication to see if the immune-boosting treatment helps keep the virus under control.
