Summary

This study tests a program called Full-SPARCS, where trained peers help people with HIV stay on their medication and in care after they leave prison in South Africa. About 400 participants will be assigned to either the peer program or standard care. The main goal is to see if the program helps keep the virus under control (viral suppression) six months after release, and to check if it is cost-effective.
