Summary
This study looks at whether a computer algorithm can help care managers identify HIV patients who are at high risk of needing emergency room care in the next two weeks. About 2,600 people with HIV are taking part. Care managers get a list of the highest-risk patients so they can reach out and offer support sooner, instead of relying on standard schedules and judgment alone.
