Scientists test 'Living Drug' designed to hunt hidden HIV
NCT ID NCT06252402
Summary
This is an early safety study testing a new type of cell therapy for people living with HIV. Researchers are modifying a person's own immune cells to help them find and potentially eliminate cells hiding the HIV virus, even while on standard medication. The main goal is to see if this approach is safe and feasible in a small group of 15 participants.
