Summary
This study looks at why some people with HIV who have the virus well-controlled by medication still develop problems with memory, concentration, and thinking. Researchers will compare people with HIV and healthy volunteers over up to 10 years using brain scans, blood tests, and spinal fluid samples. The goal is to understand how HIV affects the brain even when the virus is barely detectable in the blood.
