Summary
This study aims to understand why some people with well-controlled HIV still experience memory and thinking problems. Researchers will follow 1150 participants—both people living with HIV and healthy volunteers—for up to 20 years. They will use brain scans, memory tests, and fluid samples to learn how HIV affects the brain over time, even when the virus is undetectable in the blood.
