Summary

This study tested a new clinic program designed to improve high blood pressure care for adults living with HIV in South Africa. The program trained healthcare workers and used new systems to better screen for and manage high blood pressure during regular HIV clinic visits. Researchers wanted to see if this integrated approach helped clinics follow guidelines and helped patients get their blood pressure under better control.
