Scientists test antibody duo to free HIV patients from daily pills

NCT ID NCT05275998

Summary

This study tested a combination of two lab-made antibodies, TMB-365 and TMB-380, given by IV infusion. The goal was to see if these infusions could safely maintain control of HIV for 24 weeks in people who stopped their standard daily pill regimen. Researchers first checked the safety and drug levels of different doses, then tested the most promising dose as a complete, stand-alone treatment.
