First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 03, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a computer-delivered alcohol intervention plus help from a community health worker can improve HIV prevention and care for women who drink heavily. About 12 women with or at risk for HIV and who misuse alcohol will take part. The goal is to see if this approach is practical and acceptable, and if it helps women cut down on drinking, connect to health services, and use HIV prevention tools like PrEP or condoms.
