Summary
This study looked at 114 HIV/AIDS patients in the hospital with an opportunistic infection. It compared starting antiretroviral therapy (ART) within 48 hours versus waiting until the infection was under control. The goal was to see which timing reduced deaths. The study is complete, but results are not yet published.
