First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tested a new experimental HIV medicine, GS-1219, in people living with HIV-1. The goal was to see if it was safe and could lower the amount of virus in the blood. Only 4 people took part before the study was stopped early. This was a very early (Phase 1) study, so it is not yet known if this drug works well for HIV.
