Summary

This study tests a new, non-invasive treatment called histotripsy that uses high-intensity ultrasound waves to destroy liver tumours. It works by creating tiny bubbles in the tumour that burst and break it apart, while sparing healthy tissue. The trial will enroll 60 people with liver tumours (primary or metastatic) and monitor how well the treatment shrinks tumours and any side effects.
