Sound waves target liver cancer in new asian trial

NCT ID NCT07428356

Summary

This study is testing a new, non-invasive treatment called histotripsy for people with liver tumors. It uses focused sound waves to destroy tumor tissue. The main goals are to see if the treatment is safe and if it can control the tumors for at least six months. Researchers will also study how the treatment affects the body's immune system and gut bacteria.
