Sound waves target liver cancer in new trial
NCT ID NCT04572633
Summary
This trial is testing a device called the HistoSonics System, which uses focused ultrasound waves to destroy liver tumors without surgery. The study aims to see if this non-invasive treatment is safe and effective for patients with liver cancer who haven't responded well to other therapies. Participants will have their tumors treated and then be followed with imaging and check-ups for up to five years.
