Heated chemo showdown: can a lower dose fight cancer just as well?

NCT ID NCT06513065

Summary

This study is for people with a rare abdominal cancer called Pseudomyxoma Peritonei (PMP). After surgery, doctors wash the abdomen with heated chemotherapy to kill leftover cancer cells. This trial will directly compare two standard doses of this chemo to see if a lower, shorter dose works as well as a higher, longer one, with the hope of reducing side effects while keeping cancer from coming back.
