Two surgeries in one? study tests if adding a 'Scope' improves hip repair

NCT ID NCT03481010

Summary

This study aims to find out if adding a minimally invasive 'scope' procedure during a major hip realignment surgery leads to better results. It will compare the standard surgery (PAO) to the standard surgery plus the scope procedure in about 200 patients aged 16-50 with hip dysplasia. Researchers will follow patients for two years to see which approach provides better pain relief and quality of life.
