New Long-Lasting numbing shot tested to fight hip surgery pain
NCT ID NCT06565910
Summary
This study is testing if a new, long-acting numbing medicine is better at managing pain after hip replacement surgery than a standard numbing medicine. People having hip surgery will receive one of the two numbing shots around their hip nerves. Researchers will measure how much strong opioid pain medicine is needed afterward, how long the pain relief lasts, and check for any side effects.
