First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study compares two types of nerve blocks given after hip replacement surgery to control pain. Seventy adults having hip surgery will receive either a Deep Iliacus Plane Block or a Suprainguinal Fascia Iliaca Block. Researchers will measure pain levels, painkiller use, and leg weakness over two days to see which block works better.
