Scientists test two doses of Pain-Blocking shot for hip surgery recovery

NCT ID NCT06166602

Summary

This study aimed to find the most effective amount of a specific pain-blocking injection for patients recovering from hip replacement surgery. Researchers compared a standard dose to a smaller dose in 50 patients to see which provided better pain relief with fewer side effects. The goal was to help patients feel less pain, use less opioid medication, and recover more comfortably after their operation.
