Elastic bands vs. groin injuries: a 4-Week test for young athletes

NCT ID NCT07421986

Summary

This study tested whether a simple, 4-week exercise program using elastic bands could strengthen the hip muscles of young male basketball players. Twenty-one healthy athletes were split into two groups: one did the band exercises along with their regular training, while the other just did their normal routine. Researchers measured hip strength and agility before and after to see if the extra exercises made a difference, aiming to find a practical way to help prevent common lower-body injuries.
