Summary

This study compares two different nerve-blocking techniques to control pain after hip replacement surgery. Researchers want to see which method reduces the need for opioid painkillers more effectively and helps patients walk sooner after their operation. The trial will involve 90 adults aged 65+ who are having elective hip replacement surgery.
