Hip implant showdown: which design stays put better?

NCT ID NCT07337642

Summary

This study is comparing two similar hip replacement implants—one with a collar and one without—to see which one works better. Researchers will follow 100 adults getting their first hip replacement for arthritis to measure how much the implant settles into the bone and check for fractures. The goal is to find out if the collared design provides more stability and safety after surgery.
