Could your own bone marrow help heal your hip?
NCT ID NCT03909139
Summary
This study is testing if adding a patient's own concentrated bone marrow cells (called BMAC or PRP) during hip labral tear surgery leads to better recovery and pain relief. It will involve 400 adults with a torn hip labrum who are already scheduled for a standard repair surgery. The goal is to see if this added treatment can help protect the joint and slow down the development of arthritis.
