First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looks at two different materials used in hip replacement surgery to see which one lasts longer and causes fewer problems. About 400 adults aged 18 to 75 with hip arthritis will receive one of the two implant types. Researchers will track how well the implants hold up over time, including wear and tear and bone loss around the implant.
