Researchers track hundreds of hip surgeries to find keys to success

NCT ID NCT04243447

Summary

This study aims to improve hip surgery for a painful condition called femoroacetabular impingement (FAI), which often affects young, active people and military personnel. Researchers are following 747 patients who had surgery to identify which patient characteristics, disease features, or surgical factors best predict a good long-term outcome. The goal is to gather knowledge that helps doctors provide better, more personalized surgical care in the future.
