New gel injection aims to ease crippling hip pain

Summary

This study is testing a gel called Sensovisc, which is injected directly into the hip joint. The goal is to see if it is safe and can help reduce pain and improve movement for people with hip osteoarthritis. Researchers will enroll 25 adults with moderate hip arthritis to measure changes in their pain levels and hip function over six months.
