Tracking healing and mobility after hip fracture repair

NCT ID NCT05197335

Summary

This study observed 206 elderly patients who had surgery for a broken hip using a specific implant called the Chimaera nail. Researchers followed patients for a year to see how well the bone healed and how much mobility and independence they regained. The goal was to gather real-world data on the safety and effectiveness of this surgical device after it was approved for use.
