Your own fat cells injected to fight hip arthritis pain

NCT ID NCT05465096

Summary

This small pilot study tested whether a single injection of a patient's own processed fat tissue could safely help control hip osteoarthritis. Thirty adults with moderate hip pain received the injection and were followed for one year to check their pain, stiffness, and ability to do daily activities. The goal was to see if this cell-based treatment could reduce symptoms and improve joint function.
