Chill out: cooling therapy may ease chemo nerve pain in breast cancer

Summary

This study tests whether a cooling device called hilotherapy can reduce nerve damage symptoms (like numbness, tingling, or pain) caused by taxane chemotherapy in breast cancer patients. About 60 participants will either receive the cooling treatment during each chemo session or standard care. Researchers will track symptoms and quality of life over several months to see if cooling helps.
