HIIT vs. steady exercise: finding the best workout to manage type 1 diabetes
NCT ID NCT07365176
Summary
This study looked at whether high-intensity interval training (HIIT) or moderate continuous exercise is better for managing blood sugar in adults with type 1 diabetes, and if exercising before or after a meal makes a difference. Twenty-one physically active adults completed four different cycling sessions while researchers monitored their glucose levels. The goal was to provide clearer exercise guidance to help people with type 1 diabetes avoid dangerous blood sugar drops.
