Scientists test which workout boosts fitness and mood best in young people
NCT ID NCT07397702
Summary
This study aims to find out which type of exercise is better for improving fitness and mental health in young adults. Researchers will compare an 8-week program of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) with moderate continuous training (MICT) in about 76 healthy but moderately active 18-21 year olds. They will measure changes in fitness, stress hormones, and symptoms of anxiety and depression to see which workout plan delivers better results.
