Scientists test which intense workout boosts Ping-Pong performance

NCT ID NCT07403461

Summary

This study aimed to find out which of two short, intense workout styles is better for improving the fitness and performance of competitive table tennis players. Twenty-four young male athletes were split into two groups: one did bodyweight exercises, and the other used kettlebells, both following the same intense interval format. They added these workouts to their regular training for eight weeks, and researchers measured changes in their speed, agility, power, and endurance.
