Exercise study for prediabetes pulled before starting
NCT ID NCT06143345
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study was designed to see if high-intensity interval training (HIIT) is a practical and acceptable exercise program for adults aged 35-65 with overweight and slightly high fasting blood sugar (prediabetes). The goal was to measure how easy it is to recruit and keep participants in the program, and to get early data on whether HIIT can lower blood sugar. However, the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled, so no results are available.
