Could intense workouts be key to better stroke recovery?

NCT ID NCT06132516

Summary

This study is testing whether a specific type of exercise, called High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), can improve heart health and recovery in people who recently had a stroke. It will compare HIIT to gentle stretching exercises in 50 patients within their first 3 months after a stroke. The main goal is to see if HIIT improves a key measure of heart health (heart rate variability), which is linked to better long-term outcomes.
