Can High-Intensity workouts ease the chronic pain of lipedema?
NCT ID NCT06558851
Summary
This study is testing whether a specific type of exercise can help women with lipedema, a chronic condition that causes painful fat buildup, usually in the legs. Researchers are comparing 12 weeks of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) to usual care to see if it reduces pain and improves quality of life. The main goal is to find a new, non-drug option to manage the symptoms of this condition.
