Can quick burst exercise reverse heart risks in kids?

NCT ID NCT06416488

Summary

This study is testing whether a time-efficient exercise program called High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) can improve heart and metabolic health in children and teens who already show early warning signs. It will involve 336 participants aged 7-18 who have conditions like prediabetes, high cholesterol, or elevated blood pressure. The main goal is to see if this specific type of exercise can reverse any of these risk factors over 3 and 12 months.
