Quick workouts tested to fight diabetes in menopausal women

NCT ID NCT07258316

Summary

This study is testing whether a specific type of exercise called High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) can help women with type 2 diabetes better manage their blood sugar and reduce body-wide inflammation. It will compare the effects in women who are still having regular periods (premenopausal) with those who have stopped (postmenopausal). The goal is to see if this time-efficient workout can be a helpful, non-drug tool for managing diabetes, especially during the hormonal changes of menopause.
