Summary
This study tested whether a 10-week program of high-intensity interval training (HIIT) could improve fitness, hormone levels, and mental health in healthy teenage boys. Researchers compared 15 boys who did the HIIT workouts three times a week to 13 boys who did no training. They measured changes in fitness, stress and sex hormones, and feelings of depression, anxiety, and stress.
