Targeted High-Dose radiation trial offers hope for tough pancreatic tumors

NCT ID NCT01972919

Summary

This study is testing whether giving higher, more targeted doses of radiation along with chemotherapy can better control inoperable pancreatic cancer. It is for people whose cancer has not spread and who have already completed several months of chemotherapy. The goal is to see if this more intense treatment can shrink or control the tumor while carefully managing side effects.
