Scientists aim to zap esophageal cancer with stronger, targeted radiation

NCT ID NCT07359417

Summary

This early-stage trial is testing if giving a higher, more precise dose of radiation can better control a type of esophageal cancer. It will involve about 30 patients who are already scheduled for standard chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery. The main goal is to find the highest safe dose of this boosted radiation that doesn't cause severe side effects, with the hope of improving treatment outcomes.
