First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests whether a 12-week high-intensity exercise program can improve language, thinking, and physical health in 120 adults with aphasia (trouble speaking or understanding language) after a stroke. Participants are randomly assigned to either high-intensity or low-intensity group exercise. Researchers will measure changes in language ability, motor skills, and well-being right after the program and again 12 weeks later.
