First seen May 12, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a high-frequency electrical current (called TECAR) can reduce pain and improve movement in people with muscle injuries or low back pain. About 200 adults with muscle strains or back pain will receive either the treatment or a control. Researchers will check pain and flexibility right after treatment, and again at 24 hours, 48 hours, 3 months, and 6 months.
