Oxygen flow study aims to boost safety during bladder scope sedation

NCT ID NCT07630038

First seen Jun 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at how different rates of high-flow oxygen given through the nose affect oxygen levels in the blood and brain during sedation for a bladder scope procedure (cystoscopy). About 200 adults will be randomly assigned to one of three oxygen flow rates, and their oxygen levels, breathing, and vital signs will be closely watched. The goal is to find the best oxygen flow to keep patients safe and comfortable during the procedure.
