Oxygen flow study aims to boost safety during bladder scope sedation

NCT ID NCT07630038

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how different rates of high-flow oxygen affect oxygen levels in the blood and brain during sedation for a bladder scope procedure (cystoscopy). About 200 adults will be randomly assigned to receive one of three oxygen flow rates while their breathing and oxygen levels are closely watched. The goal is to find the best oxygen flow to keep patients safe and comfortable during the procedure.
