Oxygen flow may affect airway views during intubation
NCT ID NCT07575776
First seen May 14, 2026 ยท Last updated May 14, 2026
Summary
This study looks at 150 adults getting general anesthesia to see if different oxygen flow rates (0, 40, and 60 liters per minute) through a high-flow nasal cannula change the quality of the view doctors get when placing a breathing tube using a video laryngoscope. Each person serves as their own comparison. The goal is to find the best oxygen flow for a clear view, which could help make intubation safer.
