Major study tests if stronger flu shot better protects seniors
NCT ID NCT06506812
Summary
This large analysis combined data from two major trials to see if a high-dose flu vaccine works better than the standard dose at preventing severe illness in older adults. It involved over 466,000 participants aged 65 and older from Denmark and Spain. The goal was to get clearer answers on which vaccine is more effective at keeping people out of the hospital with flu or pneumonia.
