Massive study tests if stronger flu shot better protects seniors
NCT ID NCT05517174
Summary
This large study aimed to find out if a high-dose flu vaccine works better than the standard-dose vaccine at preventing serious illness in adults aged 65 and older. Over 330,000 participants were randomly assigned to receive one of the two vaccines. Researchers used health records to track hospitalizations and other health outcomes to see which vaccine offered stronger protection.
