Radiation boost tested to shrink tough tumors faster
NCT ID NCT07291895
Summary
This study is testing whether giving a slightly higher dose of radiation can better control large, bulky tumors that have spread from cancer. It compares standard radiation to a higher-dose approach in patients with advanced cancer who are seeking symptom relief, not a cure. The main goal is to see if this higher-dose method is practical to study and whether it improves how long tumors stay controlled.
