Sleeping on top of the world: scientists probe mountain Workers' rest
NCT ID NCT07423988
Summary
This study aims to understand how working and sleeping at high altitude affects sleep quality. Researchers will monitor 32 employees of the Pic du Midi mountain observatory, comparing their sleep when they stay overnight at the 2877m summit versus when they sleep at home at lower altitude. The goal is to gather objective data on sleep changes to help workers and doctors better manage altitude-related sleep issues.
